What's the difference between friends and followers?
Your list of friends are a select group of members who have access to your posts, ability to tag, follow, or comment etc. when permissions are set to "Friends Only". For example if you wish to
limit access to your account to a select group of friends set all your default permissions to "Friends Only" and then only members you have added as friends will be able to read your profile,
follow your posts, view your posts, tag your posts, and comment on your posts.
What are groups?
Groups are basically lists, or subsets, of followers which allow you to easily control who will receive your post. When you post to moborazzi you control who will receive the posts by adding a '@' followed by the group name in the subject line of your post. For example you could create a group called 'friends' and another group called 'family' and when you post a photo you would only like broadcasted to your friends you simple add '@friends' to the begining of the posts subject line.
Can I control which followers will receive a post?
Yes. When you post to moborazzi you can limit the followers who will receive the post on their phones by adding targets to the subject line of your post. Targets can be single followers or groups of followers or a combination of both. A target is created using an '@' followed by a username or group name added to the subject line of your post. For example you could broadcast a post to just a single follower by starting the subject line of your post with '@username'. You can
also add more than one target to a post. For example a post with the subject line '@friends @joe Check this out' will be broadcasted to all followers in the group friends and joe.
What is a geotag?
A geotag is location based information that is embedded in the posted photo. Geotagging, is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media such as websites, RSS feeds, or photos and is a form of geospatial metadata. This data usually consists of latitude and longitude coordinates, though it can also include altitude, bearing, and place names. If a photo posted to moborazzi contains a geotag moborazzi will automatically display a map showing the exact location on earth that the photo was taken. How accurate the location depends on the accuracy of the device generating the GPS data. For example photos posted with a 3G iPhone have much more accurate GPS coordinates than photos posted using a first generation iPhone which estimates it's location based on tower distance etc.
Why do some posts show a geotag map while others don't?
A geotag is location based information that is embedded in the posted photo. Any photo posted to moborazzi that contains a geotag will display a map indicating the exact location that the photo was taken when viewed. Not all mobile phones support GPS so not all photos will contain GPS data.
